2020 Word of the Year FB entry:

MY 2020 Word is RHYTHM. I am in a new season of my life. For the first time since I was 16, I do not have a job. My employer of 29+ years has retired. I have 2 grand-babies and a third due to arrive any day. It is a beautiful new season; somewhere between Fall and Winter. I picture that last warm gorgeous day of Fall where the leaves are in their grand full glorious color-that is where I am at. Not quite ready for the Winter of my life, turning 58 next week, simply enjoying the golden color-filled days of my Fall. As I prayed about my WORD for this year, God led me to the word RHYTHM. I am entering a new type of movement in my life. I am a bit uncomfortable, yet so excited for what God has in store for me.  My life is out of it’s usual rhythm of certainty (as certain as one can ever really be); certainty of a daily routine, of going to the same place of employment every week, living out the same schedule, doing basically the same things week in and week out. Wash.Rinse.Repeat! 😉 My body is also in a different Rhythm; healing, stretching, adjusting. My mind says I am “39”, while my body says “I don’t think so!” In 2020 I will find my new balance, new “normal” (whatever that is!?!), new job, new grand-baby, new purpose, new challenges, new victories, new opptortunities, simply a new RHYTHM in my life, faith, family, work. I have always lived to the beat of a “different” drum, so listening for and adapting a new Rhythm seems like an amazing adventure waiting to happen in 2020...I’m ready❣️💯#2020wordoftheyear    #jeremiah2911 #isaiah4319 #matthew112930 ##rhythmandrenewal
